We are expecting cattle to weigh in at approx. $5,000-$6,000 total for a WHOLE cow.

There’s nothing quite like knowing where your beef comes from and knowing it was raised with intention.

Our Homeplace Label Cattle are born and raised right here on our farm, slow grown on pasture and finished for approximately 250 days on our signature certified organic, soy-free grain blend alongside alfalfa hay. We believe good food starts with how the animal is raised, and our goal is to produce beef that is tender, beautifully marbled, and full of clean, honest flavor.

When you purchase a Homeplace HALF Cow, you’re investing in premium, locally raised beef that nourishes your family while supporting small-scale, intentional agriculture. If you are wanting to reserve a whole cow, please put two of these in your cart.

Each share is USDA processed, vacuum sealed, freezer ready, and customized exactly how your family likes it.

$10/lb hanging weight (includes processing)

Our finished cattle typically average 500–600 lbs hanging weight. A half cow includes one front quarter and one back quarter, giving you a balanced variety of cuts from the entire animal.

On average, you can expect approximately 65% of the hanging weight as take-home beef, though final yields vary depending on your cut selections, special requests, and whether you choose bone-in or boneless options.

$500 deposit reserves your half cow.

We have to add in an additional $15 on the deposit to cover Shopify costs. If you are local and want to pay in cash/check to skip the deposit fee, please reach out to Brianna via text or social media.

Your deposit secures your share, and the remaining balance will be calculated once your final hanging weight is determined. We will contact you approximately 10–14 days before pickup with your estimated remaining balance.

The remaining balance is due at pickup and can be paid by cash or check made payable to Brianna Williams.

Once your deposit is received, we’ll send you a custom cut sheet so you can choose exactly how you’d like your beef processed: ground, steaks, roasts, stew meat, cubed steak, and more.
