There’s nothing quite like knowing where your beef comes from, and knowing it was raised with intention. Our Homeplace Label Cattle are born and raised right here on our farm, slow grown on grass and finished 120–150 days on our custom certified organic and soy-free feed blend. The result is tender, richly marbled beef that’s full of clean, honest flavor.
When you purchase a Homeplace HALF Cow, you’re investing in premium, locally raised beef that nourishes your family and supports small scale, intentional agriculture.
Each share is USDA processed, vacuum sealed, and freezer ready, customized exactly how your family likes it.
$8/lb hanging weight (includes processing)
A half cow averages 250–300 lbs hanging weight with about 150 lbs of take-home beef.
Yields vary based on cut choices and whether you select bone-in or boneless options.
$400 deposit reserves your half cow
Remaining balance is due before pickup at the butcher. We can arrange delivery, you can pick up yourself from the butcher, or you can pick up from our farm.
Once your deposit is received, I’ll send you more information along with a cut sheet so you can tell the butcher exactly how you’d like your beef processed: ground, steak, roast, stew, cubed, or however your family prefers.
Our half cow shares are available in limited quantities throughout the year. Secure your share today and experience the difference of beef raised with care, intention, and integrity.
