This one is for the nights you want supper to feel like something, without spending all evening in the kitchen.

Inside is a pack of thick, bone-in Meishan pork chops and a pack of our bacon, both from the heritage pigs we raise on our fifth-generation family farm in Swainsboro, Georgia. Meishan pork is known for its marbling, and these chops were made for a hot cast iron skillet: render a little bacon first, then sear the chops right in the drippings until they’re golden outside and juicy all the way through. Finish them with a glaze of blackberry BBQ sauce from Burton Brambles in Coolidge, Georgia.

While supper cooks, set the simmer pot kit on the back burner and let the house fill up with Christmas. And for whoever’s standing at the stove, there’s a full-size jar of our Meishan Whipped Balm, made from our own pigs’ lard. Recipe cards walk you through it all.

Bought one by one, it would come to $111. The balm alone is $34. For $69, you’re giving a whole skillet supper and a little something extra.
