The Feed Bucket Doesn't Lie

The Feed Bucket Doesn't Lie

The Feed Bucket Doesn’t Lie

If you’ve ever stood in the grocery store holding a pack of meat and thinking…

“What does any of this even mean?”

Same.

Because everything has a label now.
And the labels are cute.
But they’re also kind of like a man reading directions… confident, loud, and not always accurate.

So let me just say it plainly..

A label can say anything.
But the feed bucket doesn’t lie.

That’s the heartbeat of Homeplace Label.

Homeplace Label isn’t a “brand.” It’s our life.

This didn’t start as some polished business plan with a color palette and a cute tagline.
It started as a family and a farm and a deep, quiet conviction that we wanted to raise food we’d be proud to feed our own babies… and share it with yours too.

We’re 5th generation raising the 6th, and we’re building something our girls can grow up inside of.

Not just a product.
A standard.
A story.
A homeplace.

And if you’re here because you’re craving a calmer way to feed your family without spiraling into food fear or feeling like you need to become crunchy overnight, pull up a chair.

You’re our people.

“Know your farmer” isn’t a trend. It’s a relief.

People say “know your farmer” like it’s a cute little hobby.

But honestly? It’s peace.

Because when you buy meat from the store, it’s usually been through so many hands and so many steps that nobody can tell you much beyond what’s printed on the package.

When you buy from Homeplace Label…

It’s us.
You can see us.
You can watch the process.

You can ask the questions.
You can decide if it’s the right fit for your family.

No mystery. No smoke. No fancy wording doing gymnastics.

We aren’t here to scare you. We’re here to steady you.

I need you to hear me on this.

We’re not here to make you feel bad about what you’ve bought before.
We’re not here to act like you’re failing if you’re just trying to get dinner on the table.

Some women have soft lives.

Some of us have gates that don’t latch and kids that don’t listen. Love that for us.

So no, this isn’t a fear-based page. It’s a confidence page.

You don’t need to overhaul your whole life.

You just need a starting point that feels solid.

And if meat is a weekly staple in your home?

Start there.

“Okay but what do y’all actually DO?”

Here’s the simplest way I can say it:

We raise our animals slow and intentional.
We’re thoughtful about what we feed and why.
And we don’t hide the process.

That’s it.

We will always show you:

  • what we feed

  • what we do and don’t do

  • what it looks like behind the scenes

  • why we make the choices we make

Because you deserve to know.

Because once you know… you can breathe.

The goal isn’t perfection. It’s peace.

Homeplace Label is for the family who’s like...

“I’m not trying to be extreme. I just want to feed my family and not question every bite.”.

And honestly? In this world, that kind of peace is a luxury.
So we’re building a way to offer it.

With transparency.

We’re building this in real time, with babies on our hips.

Some days it’s smooth.
Some days it’s chaos with a side of chores.

But we keep showing up.

Because we believe God cares about the small, daily work too.

If you’re new here, this is what you can expect

You’ll see the farm.
You’ll see the feed.
You’ll get the honest version, every time.

And when our beef shares and pork boxes are ready, you won’t be guessing what you’re buying… because you’ve been watching the whole story.

So… welcome. 🤎

We’re really glad you’re here.
